Street address: The house number is a randomly generated number. The street name is pulled from a database of plausible street names for the state/country being generated. Odds are that the generated street address is not valid.

City, state, and postal code: We have compiled a database containing hundreds of thousands of valid city, state, and postal code combinations. One of these combinations is randomly pulled from the database for each identity.

Email address: The generated email address is in the format of Generated Name@Anonymous Email Service.com. The anonymous email services are provided free of charge by the Fake Mail Generator, our temporary email service.

Telephone number: We have compiled a database of valid area codes and prefixes. One of these combinations is randomly pulled from the database, and then a random number of the appropriate length is added to the end to make the phone number the correct length.

Mother's maiden name: A random name is pulled from our database of last names, and listed as the "mother's maiden name".

Birthday: The birthday is a randomly generated date.

Credit card: We use Graham King's PHP credit card generator. This script creates a fake, but syntax valid, credit card number. The expiration date is randomly generated to be a date in the near future. We use inactive prefixes to ensure that these cards are not used for fraud. These credit card numbers do not reflect anyone's real credit card number.

National identification number: Social security numbers are generated using the pattern outlined by the Social Security Administration. Social insurance numbers are generated using the pattern outlined on Wikipedia. These numbers are completely random, and are extremely unlikely to match the generated name.

Can I get a copy of the source code to your site?

No. We may eventually make it open-source, but currently it is a closed-source, copyrighted work.

HOW TO COMPLETELY ERASE YOUR HARD-DRIVE BEFORE SELLING OR GIVING IT AWAY

A safe, practical approach: DBAN

DBAN (which stands for “Darik’s Boot And Nuke”) is a free utility designed to do exactly what we’re talking about by living up to its name: it’s a CD that you boot from that then “nukes” the information on the drive.

Download the DBAN CD image, burn it to a CD, and then boot from the CD. I need to be really clear on what happens next:

DBAN will automatically and completely delete the contents of any hard disk that it detects.

DBAN does this not by simply deleting files, but by performing a careful overwrite of the entire hard disk surface. When it’s done, everything is erased.

Everything.

In fact, DBAN has options to overwrite/erase the hard disk multiple times, so as to prevent any possibility of future data recovery. DBAN is now my recommendation when you’re about to dispose of a hard disk or give a computer away.

Over the top: Physical destruction

It’s a common recommendation to use a big heavy magnet to really erase a hard disk. My advice is to forget it. Any magnets that you’re likely to have around the house, even your big speaker magnets, are unlikely to affect your hard disk in any significant way. I believe that there have been studies that show that even some exceptionally large magnets still leave the contents of hard disks in a recoverable state.

Another approach to really, positively, and permanently destroy your data is to physically destroy the disk.

Personally, DBAN is more than enough for me, but if I care enough to go this far, I use a drill press and drill a few holes all the way through the hard drive casing, through the disk platters, and out the other side.

Unfortunately, that level of destruction also makes your gift significantly less useful.

If you want to leave Windows on the machine…

As I said before, it’s common to want to leave Windows installed as part of your gift.

That may or may not be legal (it depends on the terms of the license for your particular copy of Windows). To keep it at least ethical, it means you would no longer keep or use that copy of Windows yourself.

The right and safe way to transfer Windows in this case is to, after running DBAN, reinstall Windows from scratch using your original installation media. If your system didn’t come with installation media, then you could try the restore media that you received or you could restore to an image backup that you took immediately after receiving the machine.

And part of your gift would be to include the product key that activated that copy of Windows.

A product key that, as I said, you would no longer use yourself, having given it away.

The Seven Fundamentals Key To Improving Your Swing 

It is certainly no exaggeration to say that you cannot develop a great golf game without first turning your attention to your swing. The swing should be thought of as the engine to your golf game, without it, you just won't move. This article provides seven tips to help get you started in the game of golf.

Proper grip should be thumbs down with hands interlocked. Interlock the index finger from the hand highest on the club with the pinkie finger from the hand lowest on the club. Both thumbs should be on the top of the club and should be lined up with one another. The club should rest in the groove between the fingers and palms of both hands.

Your feet should always be in line with the ball. Your feet provide your swing with the direction that you are going to hit the ball. Observe where the ball lines up in your stance and make sure that you keep the ball in the same position every time you hit a certain club.

Choke up or down on the club to change the distance of the club. This works in both ways. As we all know the length of a club provides more leverage, and therefore greater speed at the head of the club. By choking up, holding more of the club between your hands and the ball, or choking down, holding less of the club between your hands and the ball, you are able to make slight modifications to the length the ball travels. You should use this technique when you are in between clubs.

Swish your hips as you move through your swing. Moving your hips through the swing and rotating your shoulders provides your swing with torque. The better you perform at these tasks, the longer you will hit the ball.

Keeping your knees bent allows your swing to be more fluid and helps you move your hips through the swing. If you were straight legged, you would not be able to hit the ball nearly as far.

By tightening or loosening your grip you can shape your shots to the left or right, respectively. Tightening your grip tends to make you hood your club which results in a more closed face at impact. This causes your ball flight to be shaped with a draw. A loose grip typically ends with a finish where the club face is slightly open at impact. This results in a faded ball flight. Fades and draws are different for left and right handed players. A draw moves in the direction your body is relative to the ball at address and a fade moves away from you body.

Different clubs have different optimal placement of the ball at impact. Some clubs do better with the ball slightly toward the heel of the club, some slightly toward the toe. Newer clubs have larger sweet spots and are easier to hit than older clubs.

A good golf swing is a fluid, natural motion that you should be able to execute without thought. Practice with the above tips until they become second nature to you.
